Our years of experience have given us a deep understanding of the conditions unique to northern New England.  We use only the finest hardy perennials, shrubs and trees, while accommodating proper drainage, traffic circulation, lighting and unique site constraints.  Gnome supports the standards and practices recommended by the Maine and American Landscape and Nursery Associations.

Our hardscape division provides a talented group of skilled craftsmen that can create anything from new england stone walls to brick walkways to natural ponds in woodland gardens.

Terraced backyard patio  - Scarborough ME

Once a distressed back yard with a small brick patio and a steep sloping lawn – Gnome re-defined the area by creating a series of cascading terraced stone patio landings, stone planter-beds, and curved stairs that lead down to a larger patio, an inviting pond & waterfall, and an adjoning shade ramada.
