Hello my name is Chace Campbell and I am the estate gardening director here at Gnome. I have been working in the field of landscaping for 18 years, 15 of which are at Gnome. When I was 17, I applied for a job at Gnome. My application was accepted and I worked my way up through the landscape ranks and found a profession I loved. While working in the field, I attended Southern Maine Technical College focusing on horticulture and then transferred to Husson College and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2005.
Outside of work, my wife Laura and I are the proud parents of a baby boy. The three of us own a small farm in New Gloucester. Both being passionate about gardening, we have a one acre vegetable garden and a small apple orchard. We also have six laying hens and four pigs. We put up food for the entire winter by canning, freezing and root cellar storage. We live off our land as much as possible, with the ultimate goal of becoming completely self-sufficient. In our free time, we enjoy the outdoors and dining at many of the fine restaurants of Portland. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, I look forward to meeting you.
